Lamingtons are one of the most popular treats in Australia. Here you can find out how to easily make a coconut dream under yourself. We promise you – after the first bite it will be all over you!

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 3 eggs

  • 110 grams of sugar

  • 130 grams of flour

  • 1 tsp butter

  • 1 tsp corn flour

  • 3 tsp very hot water

  • 200 grams of roasted coconut

preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat) and line a square cake with baking paper.

  2. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites in a bowl. Gradually add sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.

  3. Pour in the egg yolks, mix the flour and steak and mix. Mix the butter with hot water until the butter melts and then stir.

  4. Fill the dough in the prepared form and bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for about 25 minutes. Then take it out and let it cool.

  5. For the glaze: mix powdered sugar with cocoa. Mix hot water and butter together. Then join.

  6. Cut the frozen cake into large cubes in the mold and pour the cubes into the glass. Then roll the coconut shells and let it dry for 1 hour.
