To great Halloween– Party includes unusual looking foods too!
For all those with a sweet tooth, here are a few unique recipes for baking cakes, cupcakes and biscuits. They have that very important beautiful-scary appearance, but they have a completely delicious taste.
Cupcakes with blood sauce
You will need a muffin tin and a paper liner.
Ingredients:
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 150 grams of sugar
- 1 cent salt
- 160 grams of flour
- Bake 40 g of cocoa
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 100 ml butter
- 150 ml of oil
- 1 espresso
- 250 grams of frozen strawberries
- 30 grams of powdered sugar
- 50 ml of water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 300 grams of cream
- 300 grams of cream cheese
- 6 teaspoons of cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- isomalt
The recipe:
✷ Preheat the oven to 200°C, top/bottom. Place the paper cases in the muffin.
✷ For the dough, place the biscuits in a freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Mix the sugar with salt, flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Then mix the liquid ingredients – eggs, butter and oil. Add espresso if desired. Make sure you add enough buttermilk to make a smooth batter. Mix in the Oreo cookies.
✷ Pour the dough into 12 paper baking cups and bake in a preheated oven for 5 minutes at 200°C top/bottom heat, then for 20 minutes at 170°C top/bottom heat. Then let it cool completely.
✷ For the raspberry sauce – the blood – mix the raspberries with powdered sugar, water and lemon juice in a pan and cook for about 10 minutes. Then pass everything through a sieve to remove the raspberry seeds. Cover and let the soup cool.
✷ For the cream, whip the cream with 3 teaspoons of cream stabilizer until stiff. Mix the cream cheese with the remaining cream thickener, vanilla extract and powdered sugar and whip the cream. Fill a piping bag with a large nozzle and refrigerate until ready to decorate.
✷ For the “glass flakes,” melt the isomalt in a saucepan over medium-high heat. No need to wake up at this time. Then pour gently onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Caution: Mass is very hot! Swing the toaster back and forth to grind the “glass plate”. Leave to cool completely at room temperature.
✷ Pipe the vanilla cream on top of the cooled muffins for decoration. Use a disposable syringe to pipe the batter into the cupcakes before serving. Carefully break the glass pane and insert it. According to your taste, add sugar decorations – spirits, knife, mummy – to the cream.
Here’s a great recipe for passionate bakers with a passion for spooky effects!
The trick is the real brain cake
This cake is already legendary. Delicious red velvet cake covered with vanilla buttercream and sugar-sweet fondant. Who would have thought that brains are so delicious! 🎃 🍰🎃 🍰
This cake does not go quickly: it takes four hours to bake this terrible brain. The kitchen assistant greatly simplifies the production.
Ingredients and quantities:
👻👻 Cerebrum (Red Velvet Cake) 👻👻
- 170 grams of butter
- 60 ml vegetable oil (sunflower oil)
- 350 ml butter
- 450 grams of sugar
- 375 grams of flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of baking cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of soda
- 1 tsp red food coloring
✷ Preheat the oven to 180°C. Best upper-lower temperature. Line a 20 cm round cake tin with baking paper.
✷ Now weigh everything properly and fill it into a separate bowl. After that it should be fast.
✷ Now cut or extract the vanilla pod.
✷ Place the butter, oil, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl and mix well with a hand mixer until smooth.
✷ Add color and egg and stir vigorously. Mix the flour, salt and cocoa and add the optional flour mixture and buttermilk to the bowl. Mix vinegar and soda, add both to the mixture. Mix again and then pour into the cake pan. Cook for about 70 minutes.
✷ The cerebrum must be completely cooled before artistic modeling begins!
✷ Using a knife, shape the cake into a dome shape and make an indentation in the center. After all, the brain is two halves.
👻👻 Mencephalon (Butter Cream)👻👻
- 400 grams of sugar
- 200 ml of water
- 8 egg whites
- 450 grams of butter
- 1 vanilla
✷ Weigh and present everything again. Vanilla extract is fine too. First, don’t beat the egg whites too hard. Beat until the first peaks form.
✷ Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and cook until it forms a syrup.
✷Add the syrup to the egg whites and stir until the mixture cools down to room temperature.
✷ Add butter and vanilla and mix for another five minutes. The cream will now have a sweet vanilla smell and more flavor. Keep it in the fridge!
✷ When the cream, er meninges, is solid, spread it over the cerebrum with a spatula or bread knife. That makes a lot of glue for all those sweet brain changes!
👻👻 Cerebral Cortex (Fondant)👻
- 1.5 kg of white fondant
- 200 g of pitted raspberry jam
Tip: Fondant is a solid form of sugar. You can make them yourself, but buying them is much easier.
✷ Roll the batter into long snakes, about half a centimeter in diameter. Then place the F on the cake with narrow rings until it looks like mental disorders.
✷ Finally, spread a glass of raspberry jam (without SEEDS!) liberally over the brain. Sweet blood.
Here’s the (slightly tricky) first recipe from Camp Yolanda.
And here’s a quick no-bake recipe that’s great for kids’ parties, too.
