In fact, the Italian restaurant Don Tango in Barwedel was supposed to open in early October. The first appointment had to be rescheduled, the second on short notice – but all good things come in threes, says owner Teja Schoenberger. He and owner Antonio Franco explain why it was moved and what guests can expect now.
Bar Wag. For decades, the traditional Heidekrug restaurant has been located on Barwedel’s main street. The rooms are now renovated: the Italian restaurant Don Tango is in the starting blocks. The opening was originally planned for early October, but the conversion was not yet complete. The new date was October 22, but water damage ruined that plan as well. The opening is now slated for next Saturday, October 29 – and both owner Teja Schoenberger and landlord Antonio Franco are confident it will finally work this time.
