  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 350 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • Juice and taste of 1 lemon and 1 orange
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
  • 100 grams of raisins
  • 1 green chili (optional)


  • Combine all ingredients except persimmons in a large saucepan.
  • Reduce heat and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
