Nut cake
Ingredients for 4 people.
15 dag walnuts
12 days of butter
12 days of sugar
12 days powder
1 p. Vanilla sugar
Salt
3 eggs
3 tbsp semolina
2 teaspoons of baking soda
Weigh 30 dag apples, peeled and cored
preparation
1. Place 16 walnuts. Chop the rest of the nuts. Separate the eggs. Mix flour, semolina, baking powder and nuts. Peel the apples, remove the core and pack well. Cream the butter with 7 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla sugar, yogurt and a little salt.
2. Fold in the flour and nut mixture. Mix in the apple. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar and add to the mixture.
Grease a Bundt cake pan with butter. Line with the set nuts.
Pour the mixture into the mold.
3. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Bake the cake for about an hour and let it cool a little. Only then remove it from the mold. Optionally cover with chocolate frosting.
A tip, although it takes a little more effort: don’t buy chopped nuts for baking, but whole nuts. If you cut the fruits before processing, they will have more flavor.
